To streamline and standardize vendor communications, MakersHub provides customizable communication templates that can be reused when requesting essential information such as Payment Details or W-9 forms. This article outlines who has access to manage these templates, how they can be created and maintained, and how they are used within vendor emails to ensure efficient, consistent, and accurate outreach.
Users with Admin or Accounting Access have permission to Manage Communication Templates from within the Vendor List > Action dropdown.

Authorized users have the ability to add, edit, and manage templates (or snippets) that can be re-used when emailing vendors to request their Payment Details or W-9 information. As many templates as needed can be configured.

Once configured, users can employ these templates when requesting payment or W-9 information from vendors within MakersHub. Use “#” to reference existing templates for selection. Multiple templates can be used within the same vendor email.
